Apostle Islands on Lake Superior

After a really long winter and school year, we wanted to get away for a few days up north on Lake Superior. We had never been to the Wisconsin side of Superior together so we went to Ashland and stayed in an old historic hotel. We also stopped in Duluth on the way up and met up with Dave’s parents who were heading home from their vacation.

Despite some rain we had great views of the lake and surrounding area! We played a lot of cards for fun, which we haven’t done in a long time.
